I created Pampered Pups Retreat because I know how important it is to feel completely comfortable with the person caring for your dog while you're away. As a dog lover and longtime pet owner, I understand that our dogs aren't simply pets—they're part of the family.
My goal is to provide the kind of care I would want for my own dogs: a comfortable home, plenty of affection, individual attention, playtime, companionship, and a safe place to relax.
I intentionally keep the number of dogs I care for limited so each guest receives personal attention and doesn't get lost in the crowd. I take the time to learn your dog's personality, routines, preferences, and little quirks so their stay can feel as familiar and comfortable as possible.
When your dog stays at Pampered Pups Retreat, I want you to be able to enjoy your time away knowing they're being cared for like one of my own.

As a registered nurse with more than 25 years of experience caring for others, attentiveness, responsibility, safety, and compassion have been at the heart of my professional life. I bring that same thoughtful approach to the dogs entrusted to my care.

Where will my dog stay?
Your dog stays in my home as part of the household, not in a kennel environment. My goal is to make their stay feel as comfortable and familiar as possible.
How many dogs do you care for at one time?
I intentionally limit the number of dogs I accept so I can provide each guest with plenty of individual attention, affection, supervision, and care.
Will my dog be kenneled or crated?
Dogs are not routinely kenneled during their stay. If your dog normally sleeps in a crate or feels more secure in one, I’m happy to follow their usual routine.
Can I bring my dog's favorite items?
Please bring your dog's regular food, medications, leash and any special items or instructions they need. You’re also welcome to bring a favorite blanket, bed, or comfort item from home.
Do you have pets in your home?
Yes. I have a 9-year-old Golden Retriever, a 12-year-old Miniature Poodle, and a 12-year-old cat. All of my pets are comfortable around other animals and are accustomed to sharing their home with visiting pups.
Before a dog’s first stay, I offer a meet and greet so you and your pup can meet me, see where they’ll be staying, and meet my pets. This gives us an opportunity to make sure everyone is comfortable and that my home will be a good fit for your pup.
My goal is to provide a safe, relaxed, and welcoming home environment where every dog can feel comfortable and well cared for.
Will I receive updates while I'm away?
Yes! I know how reassuring it is to see that your dog is happy and comfortable. I'll provide photos and updates during their stay so you can relax knowing they're in good hands.
